Summer Art Camp at Lansing Art Gallery

"Embellished Accessories" entails learning to make beads, amulets, charms, neckties and more--July 8-11!  Monday we made beads from tape and  paper clips, along with "Model Magic" pendants.  To finish class today the students faced  a design challenge; each recieved a bag with an assortment of items, with which created an accessory.  We ended up with necklaces, bracelets and a cool belt!  Tuesday we worked on LINKS--making links out of paper clips, pipe cleaners, jump rings, ribbon, etc. to connect lengths.  Our lengths became necklaces, earrings and key chains, among other things!
