Word for Today

"Look, I don't want to wax philosophic, but I will say that if you're alive you've got to flap your arms and legs, you've got to jump around a lot, for life is the very opposite of death, and therefore you must at very least think noisy and colorfully, or you're not alive." MEL BROOKS

CZT seminar is totally awesome!

I attended Certified Zentangle Teacher training the 23-26th in Providence, Rhode Island. It was a fabulous, wonderful, and inspirational seminar! About one hundred participants were trained in the Zentangle "way" by founders, Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts. We invaded the Hotel Providence and enjoyed the comfortable surroundings.
I am so excited to be jumping off into a new adventure--happy trails!
Now I see Zentangle--potential everywhere--patterns patterns patterns...

Chris Clark Fellowship Award

I am one of the lucky Chris Clark Fellows this year! The Arts Council of Greater Lansing established the Chris Clark Fellowship Program for Creative Professionals in 2012 to honor Chris’ values and his commitment to the arts and the community. The eight 2012 Clark Fellows represent the inaugural year of the program. Each recipient was selected based upon the merit of their proposal and their capacity for growth. I will be attending Zentangle teacher training at the end of this month with my award!
