Day of the Dead Crafts

I had a blast team teaching Day of the Dead crafts with artist colleague, Shirley K. Bentsen!  We hosted three classes at SmittenDust Studio (, November 1 and 2, to celebrate loved ones and friends.  I really enjoyed making skull pins and mini fiesta flags!

Day of the Dead Crafts Class

On the evening of October 29th I worked with a fabulous group of students at the Foster Center, Lansing Parks and Recreation Department.  We enjoyed a fun and imaginative "Day of the Dead" crafts class, creating skull pins, remembrance cards and sugar skull collages.  What a great group of artists!  Plus, we had fun!  Thanks to Foster for being a gracious host too.
