Lansing Art Gallery Art Camp!
I am having great fun teaching spring break art camp at Lansing Art Gallery this week. Students are exploring ROCKS---making stones from air dry clay and papier mache, along with painting rocks and making collages. Students range from first through fourth grades.

Earth Day Celebration in Ludington, Michigan!

Class Description: Do
you have numerous greeting cards left over from holidays and celebrations? Repurpose these colorful images into a
special wonderful handmade basket. Use a
threaded needle and a hole punch to construct your basket—no previous sewing
experience necessary. I will also
demonstrate how to use crochet to make the basket---basic crochet familiarity
is beneficial but NOT required. All
supplies provided but please bring along favorite leftover cards if
desired. Tweens welcome if enrolled with an adult
partner.

Class Description: Embellish
yourself, friends, and family with unique and special jewelry! Upcycle a
variety of materials such as, buttons, sari silk, fabric scraps, beads, and
keys into fun fashion accessories. We
will make a necklace, key chain, bracelet and more. All supplies provided but bring
favorite buttons or beads if you wish. Tweens
welcome if enrolled with an adult partner.
No previous experience necessary.

Use Old Paper to Make New Flowers!
I had so much fun last night learning how to make flowers from recycled book/magazine pages. So Simple and So Delightful! Michigan State University Surplus Store in East Lansing hosts the workshop--great fun and great instructors! They will be repeating the class at the end of the month.
