PreSchoolers Make Groovy Art

The "Creative Tots" class yesterday morning was so much FUN but I am always sad at the last session. Our new five-week session at Reach Studio Art Center begins on April 5th. The kids have been most playful, adventurous and creative--a great way to wait out the long winter!

Found Object Sculpture Sessions This Week

Lansing Art Gallery sponsored me as the Visiting Artist this week at Cole Academy, K - 6, Lansing MI.  We created sculptures with found objects; recycled yarn, cardboard, silverware, lids, thread spools, fabric scraps, baskets, cassette tapes, felt, kitchen spatulas, etc. etc. etc.   There were so many creative and thoughtful students making art--WOW!   Many thanks to LAG and Cole Academy staff for giving me such a great opportunity.  I definitely enjoyed being the visiting artist this week!
