I had a wonderful time this afternoon at the Lansing Library (CADL)! I encouraged library visitors to help create a sculpture from recycled and repurposed materials, celebrating Earth Day and Lansing's RecycleRama. We worked in the main lobby with materials I provided; yarn, bells, fabric, chenille stems, beads, netting, ribbons along with odds and ends. Everyone who participated did a great job and we had loads of fun. Please stop by the lobby (corner of Kalamazoo & Capitol Avenues) to see our sculpture, on display through the 21st. Many thanks to the supportive and creative CADL staff too!
