Mid-Michigan Knitting Guild Meets on April 17th

Expert knitter Sarah Peasley will present the ins and outs of getting gauge at the Tuesday evening meeting, 7-9:00PM. For all you non-believers out there: let's talk about GAUGE. It really is an important part of the knitting process, and Sarah will gladly tell you why. Learn how to make a proper gauge swatch, measure it accurately, and use what it tells you to knit a garment that actually fits. Successful yarn substitution and pattern alteration will also be discussed.
If you would like to participate in a simple swatching experiment, please bring some size 7 U.S. (4.5 mm) needles. Yarn will be provided. Be there or be . . . square!
